Competition of innovative projects «Science and Business»

At the end of May, a competition of innovative projects of young scientists «Science and Business» was held in Kazan, in which our employee, director of the Project Management Department, Alexander Belov, acted as an expert.
Its tasks included the evaluation of competitive projects in the field of «Information Technology» according to the following criteria:

• Relevance of the proposed project;
• Evaluation of the scientific and technical novelty of the product;
• Evaluation of the achievability of research results.

According to Alexander, works were presented that seriously differ both in the direction (software product development, technical devices, scientific calculations and tests to create new industrial analyzers) and in the level of elaboration (from ideas and concepts to ready-made models and algorithms). The participants considered their projects not only from a scientific point of view, they were ready to discuss the commercial prospects of their work, their further development and prospects in a competitive market.
We hope that such contests will stimulate the development of science and more accurately orient the work of universities to solve complex and knowledge-intensive applied problems that arise at enterprises.
